The Boxing Free
Story
Boxing Free was developed through lived experience and a belief that discipline, structure, mentorship, and purpose can help people rebuild confidence, resilience, and direction in their lives.
The concept was born from adversity. From recovery. From a conviction that the tools which helped one person rebuild themselves could help many others do the same โ and that the best place to offer those tools is inside the prison system, where the need is real and the window for change is open.
Boxing Free is not a boxing class. The boxing is the vehicle. What people are really joining is a structured process of personal rebuilding โ built around six core principles and delivered by people who understand, from the inside, what that process actually requires.
"The movement is bigger than any one person. The mission is the focus."
โ Boxing FreeDelivered at Cloverhill Remand Prison in Dublin and, most recently, at Shelton Abbey Open Centre in partnership with the Irish Red Cross โ Boxing Free has already changed lives. This is only the beginning.
